The Graduate Certificate in Computing Foundations is specifically tailored for students looking to advance their knowledge in the rapidly changing field of Computer Science, as well as for those planning to pursue future graduate study in the field of computing. The sequence and the course materials are carefully designed to address the needs of Connecticut teachers and the students looking to pursue future advanced graduate degrees in Computer or Data Science. Once completed, students can use some of the certificate courses when applying to the following SCSU graduate programs: MS in Computer Science, MS in Data Science (in development), and 6th Year Certificate in CS Education.
