The graduate certificate in adapted physical and/or health education prepares practicing teachers and non-degree seeking students with the knowledge and skills needed to provide quality skills-based health and physical education to PK-12 students with disabilities.

Our program is designed for working professionals. The 12-credit program can be completed in as little as one year through summer and winter courses in a fully online format. Three summer content courses (9 credits) along with an individualized winter practicum (3 credits) offer comprehensive professional advancement and training. The program is open to practicing health and physical education teachers nationwide, in addition to students seeking more knowledge and employability.
